more on Corner Pub

The food here is not what you would expect from a bar, which can be a good thing. It is not your typical bar food here, although you can get a burger, wings and almost any kind of sandwich you want. If you are coming here to get greasy bar food to soak up alcohol you are in the wrong place, except for the fries of course. The wings are baked and come with jerk seasoning instead of the typical buffalo variety. I was a skeptic at first, but now i am converted and might just like these more than buffalo wings.

They also have this great cream corn that is smoky, spicy and creamy all at the same time. Every time i order it the wait staff ask if i have had it before because it is not your typical cream corn. BUT that is a good thing. Think cream corn with more cream and chili powder. So good i get it every time i go now.

The pork chops are my friend's favorite and I know why. They are perfectly fried and come with great sides of grits and collards. If he is burnt out on the chops he'll order the catfish, which is just as good and never disappoints.

The hummus is also good. The burger is a typical burger.
The nachos do not have enough cheese or fixins' on them for me.
All in all, go here if you want good service (at a bar none the less) and good food that won't leave you feeling like you have to go to the gym on your way home.
